Summer Visitors 2006...

We received lots of visitors this summer, including visits from several sets of family members eager to explore the mountains in Colorado....

The visiting season began in late spring with a visit from Sheila's parents, her sister MaryAnn and her nephew Kevin. While here they enjoyed hiking at Boulder Falls, Flagstaff Mountain and Rocky Mountain National Park. They also enjoyed some trail cycling, a visit to Vail as well as shopping and dining. Finally, Sheila's parents joined us in a hot air balloon adventure over Boulder.

Next up was a visit from Alan's brother Aaron and his family which consisted of his wife Kim and his three children Mariah, Noah and little Savannah. Highlights of their visit included hiking at various locales including Rocky Mountain National Park, visits to various Denver area attractions, a visit to Breckenridge and two white water rafting adventures.

After a visit from some friends for 4th of July, it was again time for a family visit. This time it was Alan's mother and his sister Audrey with her daughter Justina. They enjoyed a similar itinerary with trips to Rocky Mountain National Park, Breckenridge and various Denver and Boulder area attractions, including biking up the Boulder Creek Path into Boulder Canyon.
