Fourth of July 2008...

This year we returned to Breckenridge and Vail for the Fourth of July. We stayed above Peak 8 in Breckenridge with the our neighbors, the Halls.

We spent most of the day at Vail where we enjoyed their Fourth of July parade...

 

 

After the parade, we enjoyed the afternoon at Vail culminating with annual patriotic concert at the Ford Ampitheatre.

 

 

The next day we enjoyed hiking in the mountains around Breckenridge which included exploring the reamins of a turn of the century mining operation. We also spent some time town and biked along the Frisco to Copper bike path.
