Flag Football at Folsom Field
July 22, 2006
Boulder, Colorado

Saturday Ethan and Brendan were invited to a day of Flag Football with the Colorado Buffaloes at Folsom Field. The event was won at a charity auction by one of his school buddies. The day consisted of running drills with the players, followed by a Flag Football game and topped off with pizza and drinks. Of course, most of the Dads wasted no time in throwing the football around while pretending the stadium was full of cheering fans.

Brendan does the "bear crawl" around the cones. (BTW - Ethan had by far the fastest bear crawl, he was flying around the cones and
the players were commenting how good it was).

Ethan was the only kid to throw spirals. And he was accurate. The players are laughing because they were amazed and
were calling him "Joe Montana". The player on the left is Cody Hawkins, son of Coach Dan Hawkins (formerly of Boise State) and was
ranked in the top 25 high school quarterbacks. (Note from the future: Hawkins is the starting QB in 2007 and the player to the right is Scott
McKnight who has been a favorite receiver of Hawkins in 2007.)
