In Septermber of 2022, Lake Haiyha in Rocky Mountain National Park suddenly changed colors from a clear blue to a milky green as a result of a small rock slide that caused rocks to grind into a fine debris or rock flour. One afternoon (late start due to reservation system), we decided to hike to see the newly colored Lake Haiyha starting at Bear Lake and passing Nymph Lake on the way. Then on the way down, we decided to go for the additonal two lakes in the area and hiked back up to Dream Lake and Emerald Lake:
