In lieu of our usual Fall trip to the mountains and as Ethan
was more mobile on his crutches, we decided to take a drive to
Estes Park by way of the Peak to Peak Highway which runs north
from Nederland to Estes Park just West of Boulder.
We had lunch in Estes Park and took in some of the Elk Festival....
where the kids were enthralled by a giant Malamute dog,
