Its hard to believe but Ethan started Kindergarten this fall
- they grow up so fast! With Brendan turning three this year,
he was able to join his big brother at Boulder Country Day School
where he started Preschool. Sheila's parents visited for Brendan's
birthday and aside from that we managed to take in a CU
college football game and a Rockies
baseball game for which I put together photo essays that
are linked to the images below.
Images from a couple of early fall hiking including a hike
to Mitchell Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness area and a highly
recommended hike to Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park
which takes you by Bear and Nymph Lakes and on to Emerald Lake.
(we also stopped at Sprague Lake). The approach to Dream Lake
with Hallets Peak in the background is breathtaking, especially
with light snow and ice on the stream to give that postcard appeal.
Unfortunately, by camera's battery died just as we got to Dream
Lake, so the last photo I acquired from the Internet.
